Flat-fee project to get an older company ranking on Google and in AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok). Audit, competitor benchmarks, SME interviews, content design, and copywriting, with before/after measurements.
At the MBTA, rail dispatch still leaned on paper and memory. I mapped how crews and the control center actually worked, then replaced the mess with clearer policies, SOPs, and training. Plenty of operators had no agency email, so the new workflow had to work for them—not only for people at desks. The software layer came after.
Three-month engagement to rescue UX/UI design, implementation, and QA on regulated web form apps for a federal contractor. Managed the team, ran client communication, hit tight weekly deliverables.
Built an automated social content pipeline (TikTok trend research to draft posts at scale) and web scraping tools to enrich a startup’s dataset from major retailers, including bot-detection workarounds and data processing scripts.
Before consulting, I spent over a decade on digital products in state and local government: modernizing dispatching at the MBTA, shipping products for the City of Boston and Mass.gov, scaling a volunteer civic tech organization from 6 to 4,000+ members, and building two startups.
Now I consult on SEO and AI search, process improvement, custom software, and the occasional project rescue.
When I'm not on client work I'm exploring what's possible with LLMs and AI, launching niche mobile apps, or doing light construction on my home.
